...and a whole lotta love. I love my life.

Coming and Going
Two weeks ago, Papa made the two-hundred mile trip cross-state to come and see us. And though I had to work every night that he was here, we were still determined to make it work. We spent pretty much the entire weekend either at the pool or snuggled in bed together, and it was WONDERFUL.
Kiri absolutely adores every moment that she gets to spend with him and it makes my heart float to be able to be a part of it. AND, while he was here, Kiri was able to show him her new-found swimming moves!
They were two peas in a pod until the moment he left. Three more weeks and this life'll be permanent. Y'all have no idea how happy that makes me.
Wholeheartedly.
Back on Track
Many many apologies for my lack of posting. With all the business of moving, working and spending what little family-time together we can, hooking up wireless internet and cable has been the last thing on my mind. But now that all is said, done and taken care of, I promise to start getting back into the regular swing of things.
Love.

All Moved In

After two full days of moving and all the chaos that comes WITH it, we're finally done! We didn't have a chance to set things up yet, since I had to work right after, needless to say, it looks WONDERFUL. I adore this apartment, through and through. The amenities we have here, the natural light that shines through our second floor windows--it's perfect!
I promise I'll post more photographs as things come together, so be on the look out!

A Night of Papa.
After secretly selling his Warped Tour concert tickets, Papa decided to make the two hundred mile trip over here to see us for the weekend! Had I known well in advance, I would have taken the time off of work and wouldn’t have stayed on schedule all weekend long. But it sort of worked out better this way anyway, considering Kiri and her Daddy got to spend some really nice (and adorable!) time together, one on one.
On his last night here, Kiri wanted to show him her favorite part of town, the little park on ‘Main Street’. (Yes, the same little park I posted about a couple of days ago!) So we picnicked there and talked until it almost got dark. Kiri had a blast showing him around like she was queen of the playground or a tour guide or something. Papa made it a point to swing her like there was no tomorrow. And boy, did she love it!
Ninny even got to join in on the fun!
Afterwards, Papa surprised her with a trip on the most prized “toy” of all…the merry-go-round. And she was smiling from ear to ear the whole time.
It really was a wonderful night. Too bad he had to go back to Tampa the next day. But that’s alright, not too long before they can become permanent.
Honestly.

Sunshine, Smiles and Pruney Fingers.
It’s been a steady ninety degrees here in our neck of the woods, so we’ve been living it up poolside.
Did I mention just how much I love it here?! Honestly.
